When You’ve Always Felt a Little Different
Understanding Your Mind Can Change Everything
Neuro-affirming therapeutic services for adults exploring ADHD, autism, AuDHD, and giftedness.

A Place to Better Understand Your Mind
Many of the adults I work with have spent years sensing that their experience of the world is somehow different.
You may have learned to work very hard to keep up with expectations that didn’t quite fit.
You may have been described as gifted, sensitive, or intense.
You may have developed ways of masking your struggles so well that others rarely notice them.
Over time, many people begin to wonder:
Is there a reason certain things feel harder for me than they seem for others?
Exploring ADHD, autism, or other forms of neurodivergence in adulthood can bring clarity to patterns that may have never been fully explained.

My goal is to provide a space where that exploration feels thoughtful, respectful, and grounded in both research and lived experience.
Services
ADHD, Autism, & Giftedness Assessments
Comprehensive evaluations for adults seeking clarity about ADHD, autism, AuDHD, or giftedness.

These evaluations look beyond simple checklists to understand how your brain processes information, manages attention, and navigates the social and sensory world. Many adults pursue an assessment after years of wondering why certain patterns in their lives feel difficult to explain.

The goal is not simply a diagnosis, but a clearer understanding of how your mind works.
Autism Integration Sessions
You’ve gotten your diagnosis… Now What? Support for adults who have recently received an autism diagnosis and want help understanding what it means for their life moving forward.

These structured sessions provide space to process your diagnosis, better understand your assessment report, explore how this new insight changes what you thought you knew about yourself, and how to start building a better life as a neurodivergent person in a neurotypical world. Together we will address the grief and relief that inevitably come with late diagnosis, and talk about the nuances of when and how to come out as a neurodivergent human.

Many late-diagnosed autistic adults find that taking time to reflect and integrate this understanding helps them move forward with greater clarity and self-compassion.
I’m a neurodivergent therapist and evaluator with over 20 years of experience, now specializing in supporting adults exploring ADHD, autism, AuDHD, and giftedness.
My work combines psychological research, thoughtful clinical assessment, and lived experience as a neurodivergent person.
For many adults, discovering their neurotype later in life can feel like finding a missing piece of the puzzle. Understanding how your brain works can open the door to greater clarity, self-compassion, and meaningful change.

A Different Way to Think About Neurodivergence
I often describe neurodivergence like this:
It’s like discovering that you are a shade-loving tropical plant living in a sunny desert.
The environment you grew up in may have worked well for others, but it wasn’t designed for your needs.
When we understand our neurotype, we can begin creating environments and strategies that help us thrive, rather than constantly trying to adapt ourselves to systems that don’t quite fit.

A Thoughtful Next Step
Whether you are exploring the possibility of ADHD or autism in adulthood, or learning how to integrate a new diagnosis, you don’t have to navigate that process alone.

Understanding how your mind works can be a powerful starting point for living in ways that feel more aligned with who you are.
