Assessments & Integration Sessions

What issues can assessments help with?

  • Do I have ADHD, autism, or both?

  • Am I gifted, and what does that mean for my life?

  • Why do certain tasks, relationships, or environments feel consistently challenging?

  • How can I better understand patterns in my past and present experiences?

Goal: Gain clarity about your neurotype and strategies for daily life—not just a diagnosis.

What types of services do you offer?

  • ADHD, Autism & Giftedness Assessments – Neuro-affirming evaluations for adults seeking clarity.

  • Autism Integration Sessions – Four-session support for adults recently diagnosed with autism.

  • Consultations & Guidance – Explore neurodivergence and next steps.

All services are neuro-affirming and compassionate.

How do assessments work?

  1. Intake & History – Life overview, challenges, strengths.

  2. Clinical Interview – Deep dive into experiences and coping strategies.

  3. Assessment – Validated measures for ADHD, autism, and giftedness.

  4. Feedback Session – Review results, explain reports, discuss next steps.

What are integration sessions?

  • Designed for adults recently diagnosed with autism.

  • Four structured sessions to:

    • Process emotions around your diagnosis

    • Understand your assessment report

    • Reinterpret past experiences with self-compassion

    • Explore strategies for moving forward, including disclosure and supportive environments

Note: Not ongoing therapy—short-term, reflective guidance.

Is this therapy?

  • Integration sessions are short-term and focused, not ongoing therapy.

  • Some clients pursue traditional therapy separately, while others gain clarity from integration sessions alone.

How is this different from ongoing therapy?

  • Therapy is open-ended with broad goals.

  • Integration sessions are focused, structured, and specifically designed to help you process and integrate your diagnosis.

Do I need a formal diagnosis to participate?

  • Yes. These sessions are for adults with a formal autism diagnosis.

  • If you are still exploring whether you may be autistic, consider an assessment or consultation first.

What if I was diagnosed a while ago—can this still help me?

  • Yes. Integration sessions can be meaningful at any point after diagnosis.

  • Great for revisiting your diagnosis with clarity and support.

What does a personalized integration plan look like?

  • A practical roadmap for understanding your autism diagnosis and moving forward in a way that fits you.

  • Supports personal routines, relationships, work, and social experiences.

  • More than a self-care plan—guides compassionate, intentional self-understanding.

Will I receive anything to take with me after sessions?

  • Yes. You’ll receive:

    • A personalized integration plan

    • Curated resources tailored to your needs

  • Designed to support you beyond our sessions.

Can I continue working with you after the 4 sessions?

  • Option to add 2–4 extra sessions depending on your needs.

  • Integration work is short-term; after a maximum of 8 weeks, Anne-Marie will provide referrals for ongoing therapy if needed.

  • Goal: Ensure you are supported both during and after integration sessions.
